Set on the historic Mount Melville estate, the course opened in 1995 as St Andrews’ only championship inland course.

Designed by five-time Open Champion Peter Thomson and later enhanced in 2006 by architect Tim Liddy, it offers a strategic heathland layout with sweeping views over St Andrews and the coastline.
